I have been making documentaries since 1996, when I enrolled into the documentary film school “Cammelli” run by Daniele Segre, and started to make my first films. In 2000, my short film “Vineyard” was selected at the Torino Film Festival and in 2003 I realized my first documentary “Rice Girls” (produced by Stefilm, Italy). “Rice Girls” won quite a few prizes and mentions (Best Documentary at CMCA/RAI Festival, selected at 60th Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, London Film Festival, Festival dei Popoli, Firenze). My work explores memories and the relationship between man and landscape; I believe in a film language that always has reality as the very focus of the shot.

I have been working in films since 1992. I started out in commercials and cinema but soon after discovered documentary making (2000). My first experience was working as a Development Assistant (2005) and eventually I became the Head of Development and Production. For more than a decade I have been in charge of the creative development and fundraising for national and international projects’. I have worked with the television networks and quite a few of my films have been selected by major international film festivals (Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, Prix Europa, INPUT).
